Refugio and Camping Dickson

Location:

This shelter is located with a view to Dickson Glacier and is the farthest of the Circuit in Torres del Paine and is undoubtedly, the one that has the best views of the whole circuit. To get to it we must walk from the entrance of Laguna Amarga or from Grey Shelter.

Rooms:

We have 30 beds in comfortable bedrooms, all on the second floor of the shelter. The bathrooms are on the first floor, they are shared but separated for men and women and have toilets, wash basins and hot water showers.

Services:

The Shelter has a restaurant service for basic meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner). In addition to this, it is also possible to ask for box lunches for those who are planning on trekking  during the day or just enjoy a nice cup of  hot coffee, beverages, tasty sandwichs as well as beer and wine.

Dickson Camping Site:

This camping site is located on the southern shore of Dickson Lake and where the Paine lake begins and is a must for resting after a long walk from Las Torres  and  a previous stop at  Los Perros Camping Site and at Dickson Glacier View  Standing Point. We have tents, sleeping bags and mats for rent which must be reserved in advance. There are also bathrooms with hot water showers with a timetable.

There is a grocery store with all we need for meals and a public barbecue place sheltered from the weather conditions.
