Refugio and Camping Grey

Location:

This shelter is a few minutes away from Grey Glacier and part of Campos de Hielos Sur at the end of the W Circuit after walking from  Paine Grande Lodge.

Grey Shelter is like an oasis for the people who started off in the morning from Los  Perros Camping Site, passing through John Garner Pass  and finish their journey in this area.

Rooms:

We have 30 beds in comfortable bedrooms, all on the second floor of the shelter. The bathrooms are on the first floor, they are shared but separated for men and women and have toilets, wash basins and hot water showers.

Services:

The Shelter has a restaurant service for basic meals ( breakfast, lunch and dinner ). In addition to this, it is also possible to ask for box lunches for those who are planning on trekking  during the day or just enjoy a nice cup of  hot coffee, beverages, tasty sandwichs as well as beer and wine.

Grey Camping Site:

This camping site is only 20 minutes away from Grey Glacier, part of Campos de Hielos Sur which is the final camping site of the W Circuit and also a place where we must rest after passing through John Garner Pass. We have tents, sleeping bags and mats for rent which must be reserved  well in advance. There are also basic toilet premises with hot water showers with a timetable.
There is a grocery store with all we need for meals and a public barbecue place sheltered from the weather conditions.
