Puerto Natales it’s located next to Canal Señoret, between Almirante Montt Gulf and Ultima Esperanza inlet. It’s the capital of the Natales neighborhood and the Ultima Esperanza Province. It was named by Juan Ladrillero.

The Ultima Esperanza inlet originally inhabited by the natives kawéskar and aonikenk, was discoverd in 1557 by Juan Ladrillero, who was looking the Magellan Strait route. It took three centuries since the discovery of Ladrillero, before in 1830 the expedition HMS Beagle explores the area again, with some names that sounds very familiar in the zone: Robert Fitz Roy, William Skyring, James Kirke and the naturalist Charles Darwin. In 1870 starts once again the interest for these beautiful lands in the Patagonia.

During this excursion you could visit different monument, streets, avenues, main important viewpoints, the most important constructions (like: houses, Ether Aike artisanal village, Main Square, the church, etc).
